Relax, unwind and delve into the depths of the exciting and diverse underwater world at the London Aquarium.

A visit to the London Aquarium will take you on an underwater journey through the streams and rivers of the UK to the dark depths of the Atlantic. Then on through the crystal clear waters of the Pacific with its sharks and the tropical waters of the South American rainforests and their most famous inhabitants, piranhas! From conger eels to picasso trigger fish, stingrays to bat fish you will see them all.

We know more about the surface of the moon than we do about the underwater world covering two-thirds of our planet. With over 50 living displays, 350 different species and over 2 million litres of water, join the London Aquarium on a journey into the unknown.

Feeds, Talks and Dives

Throughout the day we offer free drop-in talks and feeds so you can learn more about the animals in certain zones. You can see the fish being fed during diving displays on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 12.00 and 12.30 in the main Atlantic Tank (subject to change).

Captain Pugwash at the London AquariumCaptain Pugwash at the London Aquarium

Ahoy there me hearties! Captain Pugwash and his pirate crew have sailed the Black Pig up the south bank of the Thames to the London Aquarium, just in time for half term nautical mayhem.

With his arch enemy the scurrilous Cut Throat Jake in hot pursuit, our gang of pirates will be wreaking havoc with their seafaring brand of slapstick comedy.

From February 9th to 24th, the London Aquarium will be showing four free shows a day to visitors at 12.30, 13.30, 15.00 and 16.30 , and there will be pirate activity packs and family fun of a distinctly salty nature as you become a member of the pirate crew.
